Ecological design
Our contribution to an ever greener present and future starts with the design of sustainable products. Our eco-design encompasses the evaluation of multiple aspects, starting from the primary function that the product must have, to the choice of raw materials that must constitute it correlated to the real possibility of their recycling in dedicated supply chains and their global availability.
Our study of the optimal use of resources commits us to creating products that are reusable and/or totally recyclable, that can preserve the value of the resources used for a long time by limiting the use of new resources as much as possible.
In 2023, a testament to the quality and effectiveness of our circular economy projects was Ilipack’s inclusion among the winners of Conai’s Ecopack 2023 tender with its tablet dispenser. The Ecodesign intervention resulted in reductions for production and end-of-life recycling of products of about 50 % of CO₂ emissions, about 26 % of energy consumption and more than 50 % of water consumption.
